PROJECT

Overview

Sometimes the best way to think “outside the box” is to recognize that sometimes inside the box is the right place to be! The Bathroom Building at Palm Springs High School is a unique, quick construction project. The client asked for something different that might bring a sense of pride or presence on campus near the athletic fields where a new bathroom facility was needed. Our design team imagined a simple box with high school image or branding opportunities on the exterior. Using a cargo container, construction and installation was achieved quickly in the summer months while school was out of session. The cargo container is structurally robust, who’s simple exterior allowed for the exploration of numerous branding options. Our design team’s graphic artist produced a series of graphics for the high school, corresponding to the athletics and campus identity and coordinated with the input of the local Native American tribe. The result is a bathroom that worth being excited about.
