The design of this multi-story 6-8 campus was driven by an accelerated timeline, undersized site and a fast growing student population. Buildings are designed for durability and arranged around a central campus commons to accommodate assemblies, encourage student socialization and improve site supervision. Three classroom buildings are designed for maximum flexibility for future expansion and changes in curriculum delivery. The design and location of administration, library, gym & multi-purpose provides site access control as well as convenient shared community access while maintaining school site security. The hard-courts and fields are set against a greenbelt that includes a canyon and nature trails. The outdoor learning environments provides a facilitation tool for the teachers offering small, medium, and large activities, with both passive and active settings.
