PROJECT

Overview

The La Jolla High School Modernization Project is a complicated renovation on an occupied site. The project site provides little staging area during construction and limited construction access during occupancy. Improvements to the cafeteria, admin, and numerous educational spaces have required careful design and planning, as well as intensive collaboration with the contractor during construction. While the project is currently in construction, many stages of construction have been completed under tight site and scheduling constraints. We have developed a reputation with many of our clients as the architects that solve their “problem projects.” This is an excellent example of BakerNowicki design studio’s ability to successfully manage projects with complex constraints and challenges.
