When Richard and Jon decided to form BakerNowicki Design Studio in 2011, it was important that they created a place where excellent service and design were foremost on every project. Richard is very proud of the work coming from BNds these days. In 25 years of designing public schools, Richard says he has never had the pleasure of working with as fine a group of professionals as he does now.
Richard most enjoys creating with clients and finds Architecture for Education most rewarding when the design solution is a direct result of the needs and philosophy of our clients.
Richard is a dedicated family man, spending as much time as he can muster with his wife, Michele, and their two daughters. While Richard may have lessened the number of hobbies he pursues these days, he can always be found not too far away in time or space from at least one of his cherished guitars.
